About Bounce
Bounce was founded Scott Walker, when during his travels in New York, in the midst of the jostling crowds on a busy Manhattan street, he could feel his cell phone ringing. After a few excruciating seconds of fumbling to get it out of his pocket, it fell—slow motion-style—to the concrete. A long crack now divided the once-perfect screen. After making several failed attempts to get his phone repaired and covered through his existing mobile insurance he gave up. The only way for him to fix the break was to mail it back, and wait. That wasn't very helpful for someone travelling in New York. So, he created the Bounce Screen Protection Program.
Bounce Mobile Solutions
In 2019, OnPoint Warranty Solutions became the sole US Distributor of the Bounce Screen Protection Program. Bounce was acquired fully in 2021 by OnPoint.
In 2022, the Bounce Program was extended to include a comprehensive suite of device warranty protection and mobile services, for BYOD, new or recertified refurbished devices, targeting consumers, as well as mobile technology resellers, retailers, carriers and MVNOs.
Bounce Mobile Solutions has revolutionized the mobile and technology verticals by offering underwritten warranty products for any device, while providing resellers a single vendor solution for the entire device lifecycle.
- Total Device Protection (TDP) for mobile, tablet, laptop and other electronics products. TDP includes break/fix warranty protection and accidental damage from handling (ADH) coverage for new, refurbished and BYOD devices.
- Screen Replacement Protection for new, refurbished or BYOD devices, providing consumers with self-service repair coverage and 24-hour digital claim reimbursement.
- Bundled Services providing MNVOs or retailers seeking MVNO-like solutions bundled financing, device procurement, airtime, warranty protection and trade-in services.
- Theft Loss Protection which provides optional, customized loss theft coverage for all devices.
In September 2022, Bounce Warranties are backed by Universal Underwriters Insurance Company, an individual member company of Zurich in North America and administered by OnPoint Warranty Solutions LLC, a fully licensed warranty services administrator.
